Torquay is the largest of the three towns, which make up the popular holiday region of Torbay. Affectionately known as the English Riviera, Torquay is renowned for it's excellent climatic conditions. Babbacombe is a region of Torquay, which is a holiday resort in itself. Situated just two miles from the Torquay harbour side area it has excellent transport links throughout Torbay and South Devon. From the cliff top promenade you can enjoy stunning views across Lyme Bay that, on a clear day, can stretch as far as Golden Cap in Dorset. You have the choice of two beaches, Oddicombe and Babbacombe beach. Oddicombe is a sand & shingle beach situated on the north side of the downs and can be accessed by the cliff railway.
